Required Fees at Registration
A registration fee of $380.00 per child is due at the time of registration.
Each family is required to purchase 2 Mardi Gras Draw tickets for $40.00 each
totaling $80.00.
Total amount due at registration is $460.00
(If the family has more than one child half of the fee is due at registration and the
other half is due by May 1, of the prior year you are applying for acceptance.)
The Registration fee includes the following fees:

The Registration fee and Mardi Gras Draw tickets are Non-Refundable

Families with children in elementary and preschool will have an additional $250.00
charge for each preschool student.
For instance, a family with one 1
grade student and one PK student paying the parish
affiliated rate would pay $6,350.00.
Parish Affiliated means that you are a registered member of one of the parishes in the Biloxi
Diocese and are actively using the envelopes for donations to that parish. The Pastor of the
parish you are a member of must complete a Parish Affiliation Form to receive the parish
affiliated tuition rate.
A Non-Parish Affiliation means you are not a member of any parish within the Diocese of
Biloxi or you do not have a letter from your parish pastor stating your affiliation with that
Needs Based Tuition Assistant is available for parish affiliated families from their
respective parishes. All Parishes in the Biloxi Diocese provide tuition assistance to their
parishioners who are in need of assistance and attend a Catholic school in the Biloxi Diocese.
To apply for Needs Based Tuition Assistance you must contact the pastor of your church.

and the last payment is due May 1
A late fee of $30.00 will be charged to each account paid after the 10
of each month

Tuition Assistance Criteria and Procedure
All Parishes in the Biloxi Diocese provide tuition assistance to their parishioners who are in
need of assistance and attend a Catholic school in the Biloxi Diocese. Sacred Heart Parish
offers tuition assistance to the students in Pre-K through 6
grades and St. Patrick High
School for parishioners of Sacred Heart Parish. Families registered at parishes other than
Sacred Heart must seek assistance from their respective parishes.
Any Sacred Heart family in need of tuition assistance must schedule an appointment with the
Pastor of Sacred Heart Church, Fr. Dominic Pham, and complete a tuition assistance
application form. Tuition Assistance Applications are available at the church office.
Returning families must participate in four or more fundraising events in the prior year to
qualify for the needs based tuition assistance.
After meeting with the applicant and receipt of a completed tuition assistance application
form, Fr. Pham will review the application, assess each applicant’s individual needs, and
complete a TARC Application Information Form. The TARC form is submitted to the
Sacred Heart Parish TARC (Tuition Assistance Review Committee) for review, and the
TARC Committee’s recommendations are submitted to Fr. Pham. Fr. Pham will review the
TARC recommendations and distribute the tuition assistance according to the applicant’s
needs and available funds. Returning students will receive first priority for funding.
Sacred Heart Catholic Elementary offers three scholarships: The Pope Francis Scholarship,
The Bingo Scholarship, and The Norman & Dorothy Lopez Scholarship. Applications are
available in the school office. All scholarship applications are reviewed and awarded in July.
1. Pope Francis Scholarship - $3,900 to a family of any denomination with a student
in the 4
, 5
, or 6

2. Bingo Scholarship - $1,000 for parents who have worked 40 bingo nights and
$500 for parents who have worked 20 bingo nights within the previous school year from
August through July. (See Bingo Scholarship Application)
3. Norman and Dorothy Lopez Scholarship $1,000 one-time only for students of
the D’Iberville community. (See Lopez Scholarship Application).

Morning Care Hours and Rates
After School Care Hours and Rates
Children not picked up by 3:15 p.m. will be sent to After School Care.
Children must be picked up by 5:30 p.m. If your child is picked up after 5:30 p.m., you will
be assessed a fee of $10 per each 10 minute-interval until the child is picked up.
A hot lunch is served each day, which includes a main entre, vegetable/fruit,
bread, desert and milk. The cost of a hot lunch is $3.75. Milk may be
purchased for 50 cents per carton. We request that lunch be paid in advance --
daily, weekly or monthly. (Sacred Heart does not serve breakfast.)

ACT Preparation Program -- Open to students in Kindergarten – 6
grades. Students meet
two days each week from 7:20 to 7:40 a.m. No fee is charged.
Art Club – Open to students in grades 1
- 6
. Art club meets one day each week from 3 to
4 p.m. The fee is $20 per month and a snack is provided.
Drama Club – Open to students in grades 3
– 6
. Drama Club meets one day each week
from 3 to 4 p.m. Two performances are given during the school year, one in the fall and one
in the spring. No fee is charged.
Study Hall – Open to students in grades 4
– 6
. Study Hall meets one day each week from
3 to 4 p.m. No fee is charged.
Sacred Heart Choir – Open to students in grades 2
- 6
. The fee is $40 per month. The
choir meets one day per month.
Music Lessons – Open to students in grades PreK3 – 6
. Music teacher, Mrs. Francis
Jacquet, offers private individual piano and voice lessons. Lessons are 30 minutes per
session and the fee is $60 per month.
Band and Guitar LessonsOpen to students grades 4
– 6
. Mr. Bruce Garner offers
private group lessons after school each Friday. Lessons are 30 minutes per session and the
fee is $45 per month.
